Second Thursday Fiction Workshop

  • Cuyahoga County Public Library -- South Lyndhurst Branch 1876 South Green Road South Euclid, OH, 44121 United States (map)

IN PERSON. For fiction writers ready to offer and receive feedback.

Writing can be lonely work. It’s the glare of a computer screen or the scratch of a pen across an empty page. And how do you know whether a story is working? At some point, it’s time to share.

Consider us your sounding board. Our fiction workshop will meet once a month for six months to offer and receive feedback. Each time we gather, a selection of group members will present writing, so participants must commit to reading up to 30 pages ahead of our meetings.

We’ll talk about where the story comes alive, and why, and unpack your questions, so when you return to the draft alone at your desk, you’ll feel energized, fresh-eyed, and hopefully, inspired.

Please commit to attending at least five of the six classes in order to help create this generous and supportive community. Space is limited and registration is required. Learn more HERE.
