Are you looking to broaden your creative practice? Maybe you’d like to teach, lead destination workshops, or have simply been looking for a nudge to start your own writing circle. Well, now’s your chance.
When folks ask “How do I know if teacher training is right for me?” I usually say You know in your heartache and You sense it in your gut.
My own writing circles arose from grief and this deep-down desire for honest connections I could not seem to find away from the page. If you feel called to this work, I suspect you already understand what I mean.
Our cohort will be small. No more than ten, probably fewer. We’ll meet online weekly. I’ve currently blocked eight winter Sundays, 1PM-3 EST. *Tentative start date: Jan. 25, but once our cohort is set, we’ll schedule together for the good of the group. Several meetings will be one-on-ones, and you’ll choose the most convenient meeting time, and all classes will be recorded. I’ll share with you my own tips and best practices. You’ll each have chances to ask questions, build communities, and lead writing sessions. And we’ll be in touch long-term to see how I can best support you to march in the direction of your storytelling. Want to lead a circle in your living room? At the library? In Paris? It’s all possible, and we’ll build your dreams together.
